Your first session at LumaMind Integrative Psychotherapy is a space to pause, breathe, and begin exploring what brings you here. This initial consultation allows us to get to know one another, discuss your current challenges, and clarify what you’d like to gain from therapy. Together, we’ll explore your history, patterns, and goals, while beginning to identify the themes and areas of focus that feel most important for your healing and growth. This session also provides an opportunity for you to experience how I work — a blend of integrative and existential psychotherapy that honours the connection between mind, body, and emotional wellbeing. You’ll leave with greater clarity on the next steps in your therapeutic journey and a deeper understanding of how we can work together to support meaningful, lasting change.subconscious patterns and navigate life's challenges with greater emotional balance and self-understanding.
Cancellation Policy
1. Making a Booking All sessions with LumaMind are currently conducted online via secure video platform to ensure accessibility & flexibility for all clients. Appointments can be made through our online booking system, by phone or via email. Session availability is limited, so we encourage early bookings to secure your preferred time. 2. Session Fees & Payment * Session fees are listed on our website or provided upon enquiry. * Payment is required at the time of booking unless prior arrangements have been made. * We accept debit card, eftpos, cash & bank transfer. * Receipts can be provided upon request. At LumaMind Integrative Counselling, we believe therapy should be accessible to everyone. Concession rates may be available for students, concession card holders or those experiencing financial hardship — please reach out to discuss options before booking. 3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy We understand that life can be unpredictable. To respect everyone’s time & access to appointments: * Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your session. * Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% session fee. * Missed appointments without notice (“no-shows”) will be charged the full session fee. Exceptions may be made in emergencies or under compassionate circumstances at the discretion of LumaMind. 4. Late Arrivals If you arrive late to your session, the session will still end at the scheduled time to maintain fairness for all clients. Full session fees apply for late arrivals. Please ensure you are logged in and ready to begin your online session promptly at your booked time. 5. Rescheduling by LumaMind If we need to reschedule your appointment, you’ll be notified as soon as possible and offered the next available session time. If a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, a full refund will be provided for any pre-paid session. 6. Confidentiality & Professional Boundaries All information shared during sessions is treated as strictly confidential & managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy & professional ethical guidelines. Communication outside of scheduled sessions is limited to administrative or booking-related matters only. 7. Crisis & Emergency Situations LumaMind does not provide crisis or emergency services.
